Flowers and Spring Paintings

I have been delving back in to the still life side of my work. This spring/summer I will be displaying some new work at my friends’ stores in Muskoka: The Garden Cottage and The Best of Ontario Market.

It is a reflection of some of the gorgeous local produce and flowers that they carry. If you happen to be driving through MacTier, stop by to check them out!

World Water Day March 22, 2012

I am participating in “I AM WATER” a group art show and forum in support of Lake Ontario Waterkeeper.

Curated by fellow local artist Su Sheedy, the show features many local artists and opens Thursday March 22nd from 7 to 9 pm at the Window Art Gallery 647 Princess St (at Victoria). The show opens on World Water Day with an art show and reception and runs until Earth Day, Sunday April 22nd, 2012. On Earth Day the show will close with a public forum featuring music, poetry and public speakers from 2-5pm.
